I tried the blueberry muffin recipe this weekend. I had all the ingredients including the frozen blueberries, which turned out super moist after it came out of the oven.

The nice thing about this recipe was that the muffins aren't super sweet. We've been trying to eat better and I didn't feel bad about eatting them.

I don't think all the recipes are going to be semi-sweet, but they will be super delicious.

I recently found this book at World Market. It was very intriguing as I'm very used to making muffins from a package. They have recipes for various types of muffins, some sound very delicious and some just sound out right .. yucky? I guess I shouldn't judge until I try.

I think I am going to try and go through this book and try every muffin recipe. I will post after every muffin, including ones such as tuna and olive. Wish me luck on this journey!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Thumbprint Cookies

I saw this recipe in the Martha Stewart magazine last year and I've been craving to make these cookies for a looong time! I was always just too cheap to buy the jam because Andy and I really don't eat PB&J sandwiches.

The recipe can be found: http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/peanut-butter-and-jelly-thumbprints

The recipe was very simple. It did take a bit of work to roll the cookies into a ball and then into sugar, but I do have to say that the overall shape turned out really nice. Some of the cookies cracked a bit more because i pressed into the cookie a lot more than other, however, the cookie did stay together pretty well even though it looked like it was about to break.

It was well liked by Andy and I and all those at work :).
